This seems to be a hard spot to find, so let me be clear. We are on Hwy 53 between milepost 11 and 12 right on the county line. Coming either way it's easy to blaze right past becuase we are on a tight corner. There is limited parking at the farm so if you are coming for a farm based class, park at the red barn and walk across. Driving on Hwy 53 you'll see bridge lane on the west side of the road. Turn here and loop around in front of the barn and park in the obvious spot. Then walk across the street and up my super steep driveway to get to the farm. The driveway is marked with prayer flags, it is not my neighbors driveway, marked with no trespassing signs. The kayak building shop is at the red barn during listed class hours or by appointment.
You'll be on 53 for 15 to 25 minutes depending on how fast you drive. If you come to where North Fork Road and Hwy 53 split, you've come about a mile and a half too far. If you arrive in Nehalem or Wheeler you've come about 10 miles too far.
Note: the turn off sign to Hwy 53 from Hwy 26 is missing. The turn off is about an hour and fifteen minutes west of Portland on Hwy 26. At the bottom of a long hill, you will see a gas station on the left hand side, turn here.
