Because we live in an oil saturated society and the decline of oil will affect our lives in ways we never imagined; yes, even our kayaking. This is important and everyone should be talking about it so I've put it front and center on my site. Peak Oil is not a left wing issue. It's a scientific concencus that we are in trouble.
